My co-worker brought your message to my attention, he was so proud of how well spoken and intelligent you are, I had to explain to him that intelligence has nothing to do with being a white man in a black man’s body.

Sorry, guess I have grown to expect a few people like that - ON BOTH SIDES. You see, not only am I old enough to remember such things as segregated schools and restrooms, but I lived in Milford, Delaware - where such people as Brian Bowles were holding up their babies and saying they would rather kill them than to have them go to school with blacks, at rallies at the local airport - I went to school when there were two of us on the bus - a black neighbor and me, led and followed by State Police cars. (1954) Two centuries have gone by and there are still some who have not grasped the concept of ‘Endowed by our Creator”.
Only today did I stumble on your site and message to the troops. This particularly rang true to me because this past weekend, my son-in-law - who is a Staff Sargent in the National Guard was notified that he was heading to Iraq this summer. I cannot imagine a better person to represent/defend our great Country.
