THIS is the face of the girl who may have sparked the worst school shooting in US history.

Eighteen-year-old Emily Jane Hilscher was one of the first two victims to be identified in the Virginia Tech massacre, along with 22-year-old Ryan Clark.

The pair were neighbours in rooms 4040 and 4042 on the fourth floor of the West Ambler Johnston Hall dormitory where a gunman began the first of 33 campus shootings on Monday morning just after 7am, US time.

Yet for some reason also felt the need to remark on her appearance.

Just not sure why.

Happens every time. If you look at the various memorials with message boards for the 9/11 victims, the attractive young women and children consistently get the most comments. I've observed this, but I don't have an explanation other that it's another sad facet of human nature.

So what. She is pretty IMO. Am I not supposed to say that because you or someone else might "read into it"? Heaven forbid I say something kind.

1. Ismail Ax on his arm in red ink
2. Ismail Ax in his writings found in his room.
3. First target (dorm shooting) was Hirshil (Jewish surname)
4. First target (Classroom building) Israeli Professor.
5. He chose Holocaust Remembrance Day to begin the slaughter
6. He rants against women and debauchery. A favorite theme among Islamists
7. The URL for the Islamic Center in Blacksburg is taken down—doesn’t work—who took it down and when did they do it? I guess Law Enforcement investigating his computer trail.

Until his suicide note is released uncensored we will not fully know what he was thinking—we have been spoonfed three or four sentences of a multi-page rant.

I am suspicious of everything related to this case.

You said — “I am suspicious of everything related to this case.”

The more news I see on the news channels, the more reports I read from the newspapers, and the more I hear from the witnesses (and especially the people in his dorm) — the weirder this guy is.

Heck, he even said he had an “imaginary girlfriend” whose name was “Jelly”. Get that. His own dorm-mates said they knew of three girls that he stalked. He basically never said more than a word or two — just about the *entire year*. He would call himself “question mark” (online and otherwise). He signed in a student roster in one of his classes with not his name but “question mark”. He “weirded out” some students in classes that he was in by taking “inappropriate pictures” of students “below the desks” (the wording of the article). He went to one girl’s dorm to see what she was like, so he could look into her eyes and he stated “she had promiscuity in her eyes.”

I mean, how *weird* is weird before you finally say, “Yep, this guy was the nutball of the year!”

It’s amazing how some people will look for Jihadis under every rock and in every crevice, but deny someone this weird is really a nutball case. You just diminsh the *real situation* for Islamic Jihadists by pursuing that angle on such a “nutball” case. This guy could be nominated for “nutball of the century”....

Agree with you, I too am suspicious of everything related to this case as well as we should be.
The cover-up of previous SJS (sudden jihad syn’d)is obvious to anyone and starting to become relevant with VaT. Let’s see what the investigation reveals and fails to reveal.

Interesting..., so you’re saying that this shooter and the girl were getting off the elevator?

It’s also amazing that this guy could have had an “argument” with the girl (as has been stated” when his dorm-mates say that he barely said a single word the entire year. They couldn’t get him to talk.

Well, I guess we’ll have to keep listening to the news...

Infantilization of the government and media—they think they need to control what we are told for our own good?

Arrogance and leftard bias.

Well..., the title says — “Was gunman crazed over Emily?”

BUT, at the news conference, today (Wednesday), they said that they know of *no connection* to the murdered girl. However, he said that because they didn’t know, doesn’t mean that they won’t find out that there was a connection in another day or two or next week (a “hedge” on their part, obviously).

The bottom line is that they have not been able to establish any “connection” with this murdered girl. To me that would mean that the shooter had not talked to or gone out with this girl before. Why he was up there talking to her in the first place is a puzzle — then. I think she was on the fourth floor. And there are card key entry systems to get in (but they can get in easily by following someone else in).

Someone in the news conference asked (when it was stated that there was *no connection* with this girl) — if he meant “real or imaginary”. And the spokesman answered, “No, real or imagined”.

I guess that goes to the reports that the shooter had an *imaginary girlfriend* (a dorm-mate said the imaginary girlfriend was named “Jelly”).

It’s interesting but still confusing...
