Another “Shocking” School Massacre

As we embark on another news cycle about the “shocking” event at Virginia Tech this week, I can already feel myself slipping into insanity over the ignorance of how it will be covered, and the conclusions that will be drawn. We will be forced to watch weeks and weeks of news coverage and talking heads analyzing how in the world such a tragedy could occur. On top of that, we will surely be lead down the path that the fault ultimately rests on the corrupt, and violent American gun culture. Maybe even Micheal Moore will throw out a few “I told ya so's”. Others will call for the firing of the University President, the Police Chief, and whoever else they can get there hands on in their search to blame anyone except who is actually responsible. Since they cannot take their rage and sorrow out on the dead assailant, they will search for someone, or something else to whip for this, and completely miss the entire point of the tragedy.

Have we become this stupid? Have we become so removed from our founding culture, and secularized to the point where we no longer recognize that there is evil in the world we live in? It is with us every day. It effects you, me, and all of those around us. However the more secularized and numb to its recognition we all become, the more of us it will take complete and deadly control over. Just as the Anna Nicole story should have been a warning about the evils of drug abuse and sexual promiscuity, and not a child custody caper, we should recognize a much deadlier form of the same disease in Virginia.

One completely different aspect of the Amish school shooting a couple months back was the fact that when they interviewed the members of the community after the tragedy, they were not standing around saying, “How could this happen?”. They didn't come out and blame objects, or people that could have done nothing to stop the incident. They recognized evil exists in the world, and tragically, it found them on that day.

As more and more of our kids are being neglected in day care centers, lead astray by secularized schooling, and given basically no proper direction in their lives, they are creating the perfect breeding grounds for this force that lurks around us all every day. Combine this with the advent of the Internet, and all the wonderful things it gives us all access to in the privacy of our homes, (or dorm rooms). You can be sure to find ANYTHING it is you want to find, no matter how good, or how bad, to embrace and fill any void it is you may have. Too many kids are growing up blank slates, and having that slate filled out by the onslaught of filth readily available to them. Unprotected, they are easy prey, and some will make easy prey of others.

And mark my words, as our country continues to secularize itself, its schools, and ultimately its children, and we refuse to intervene, these incidences will increase exponentially. So prepare yourself, your children, and all your loved ones, because there is nothing shocking about what happened in Virginia, and it will surely happen again. Evil has been here since the beginning and it is here to stay.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn't exist. (Kaiser Soze) It appears he is meeting greater success everyday.

The “lone gunman massacre” isn’t an American trait. Remember 16 children gunned down in a Dunblane Scotland elementary school in 1996? That same year, another gunman mowed down 35 in Port Arthur, Tasmania.

"Have we become this stupid?"

YES. Not just stupid, but ignorant, uninformed, without common sense, and brain-washed.
