And where and when did he learn to shoot so accurately in the month since he bought the gun?
“I was planning on buying my first gun this summer, a Glock 9-mm most likely. Yikes! I hope they don’t make it next to impossible for citizens like me to arm themselves.
And where and when did he learn to shoot so accurately in the month since he bought the gun?”
1. I’d buy that gun today if I were you.
2. Same question I have, where did he learn to shoot like this, and I don’t buy he learned ‘in a month’ based on my own experience learning the art of handgunning accurately.
Unless this guy spent countless hours on a range, or just plinking, to the tune of hundreds of rounds fired, I don’t see it as ‘learned in the last month’.
I haven't seen any definitive reports yet on how close he was to his victims, but it's not that hard to hit a person-sized target from only a few feet away.
While I do not blame video games for this guy’s actions, video games *do* allow someone to practice his marksmanship skills - we’re talking about the big standup units where you actually hold a pistol simulator and shoot at targets on the large screen in front of you. The Army has taken note of this and is starting to try the tech out more seriously.
