Effectively the robot is allowed to disarm enemies by prying their guns from their cold dead hands.

Our current enemies do not deserve the dignity of being killed by men.
Let the terrorist scum be hunted down and terminated by machines.

Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics 1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

denying someone who wants to kill you their equipment doesn’t solve the problem- it still leaves someone who wants to kill you running around and as pissed as ever. I would’ve thought the flawed premise of gun control makes that much clear.

Let machines target other machines, he writes, and let men target men. Oh like a machine gun shooting only another machine gun?

Having combat bots on the field will certainly demoralize opponents .... sure people are ready to kill for a lot of things like ideology or religion. How many of them are willing to risk their lives and ‘souls’ to kill 150,000 dollars worth of autonomous combat robots?
