NEW YORK - Keith Olbermann will add a fifth voice to the studio on NBC's Sunday-night football highlights show in the fall, the network said on Monday.
Bob Costas anchors the show, with Cris Collingsworth and now Olbermann as co-hosts. With Jerome Bettis and Tiki Barber as analysts, the former NFL players will outnumber Costas and Olbermann by 3-to-2.
Olbermann, who first became known as a host on ESPN's "Sportscenter," has shuffled between news and sports during his career. His "Countdown" show on MSNBC has been hot lately, with Olbermann drawing attention for commentaries taking on the Bush administration.

Sound is off on Sunday night foolball for me....I'll just skip the pre-game, halftime report, and post-game show.

I thought Bettis was a conservative? Or are you just referring to his sports commentary skills? Don't know anything about his political leanings. His non-skilled commentaries were the object of my objection to him.

Tiki should have stuck with Fox who gave him his broadcast start and what sounded like a good offer. This will sink his career as ratings will be the lowest amongst all of the NFL broadcasts with that cast of losers he will be sitting next to in the broadcast booth.
Stay away from the dark side. Come back to the light Tiki.

Geez! I can barely stomach Costas
or that homo Collinsworth and now theyre going to add Olberman? NBC must want to destroy the only show it has worth watching.
Would'nt have even needed to comment if you had given a full analysis...

Looks like I’ll be sticking with the NFL network right up until kickoff on Sunday nights.

Who does a better job than Costas?
