NEW YORK - Keith Olbermann will add a fifth voice to the studio on NBC's Sunday-night football highlights show in the fall, the network said on Monday.
Bob Costas anchors the show, with Cris Collingsworth and now Olbermann as co-hosts. With Jerome Bettis and Tiki Barber as analysts, the former NFL players will outnumber Costas and Olbermann by 3-to-2.
Olbermann, who first became known as a host on ESPN's "Sportscenter," has shuffled between news and sports during his career. His "Countdown" show on MSNBC has been hot lately, with Olbermann drawing attention for commentaries taking on the Bush administration.

Sorry Tiki, but won’t be watching you now.
This ought to frost Limbaugh.
Whhhyyy? Jeez, if it’s not enough hearing him and Dan Patrick drone on and on on Patrick’s radio program...
I can’t stand either of them. One is bitter, the other always a step behind. Some things just don’t make sense.
Thanks for posting this. I’ll be sure to miss this nasty twit.
Drat. I’ll have to watch Sunday football with the sound muted.
I think I just....threw up...in my mouth....a little...
His "Countdown" show on MSNBC has been hot lately
Yeah, about as hot as Charo is these days.
So he’s going back to something he’s actually qualified to do...
I guess I will be watching a lot less football this fall.
What Rush should do this fall is stop talking about it. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a notable downtick in viewers.
What a disturbed image. He is a vile individual.
No Sunday Night football for me.
Geez! I can barely stomach Costas and now they’re going to add Olberman? NBC must want to destroy the only show it has worth watching.
Take heart. It's just the studio crew.
But sportscasting has definitely taken a turn for the worse lately.
Olbermann must have been recruited to make sure their ratings don't expand.
Can there be anything worse than Costas, Collingsworth, Olbermann and Bettis?
Poor Tiki. He must be the token, "Well, if he's there, it's not a total loss."
Oh...sure, he is getting better ratings that Chris Matthews...and is nastier (if that is possible)..
SOOOOOo NBC rewards him with this gig.
Sorry, NBC...but I am OUT!
“Ill have to watch Sunday football with the sound muted.”
Turn on the radio while you watch.
I thought Bettis was a conservative? Or are you just referring to his sports commentary skills?
