Apparently VT is holding its information close to the vest, which, in turn, infuriates the press, who then proceed with wild speculation and their own opinions as to what happened and what should have done.
Now, instead of mourning these 32 children, we're suppose to find the blame immediately and trash somebody -- anybody.
The press is like the plant in Little Shop of Horrors. It loves blood and it MUST be fed.
Watching the reporters pontificate last night, I had a fleeting thought that I prayed that they be completely wrong in everything they said so that, once and for all, this country can see what these awful people do to us day in and day out.
The press has positively sickened me even more than usual which I didn’t think was possible.

Well stated
Last night Greta, while standing the in the press room, said something to the effect of, “well, it’s nice for them (university spokes people)to finally acknowledge we’re all (press) here”. Made me sick.
I have seen little mourning for the victims by the media. Maybe I missed it. But a great deal of blame. And many false statements. Allegedly Geraldo, for example, already all but accused some innocent guy - I read this somewhere here. Didn't he learn anything from the Duke case?
I feel sad for the victims and their families. Such a horrible crime.
