Radford Hospital has a kick butt emergency department, but relatively poor speciality (and surgical) service back up. Roanoke Memorial is an excellent Level I trauma center with excellent surgical and specialty back up.
These shooting victims will get very good care.
I’m guessing the guy shot his girlfriend and roommate this morning at
AJ. He was able to make it out of AJ and then back across campus to
Norris, where I’ll bet he opened up on the engineering department as
classes started.

Seems they have audio and video of the shooting, show law enforcement hiding behind trees, while gun shots can be heard. CNN.

University officials always try to minimize stuff like this. Same as the UofW shooting a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, the university made a big ka-doo last year about banning all firearms on campus, even in vehicles, except for security. The policy didn’t do a damn thing to stop this nutcase from doing his dirty work...
April is the cruelest month. Prayers for the students and their parents. I can’t imagine what the parents of students at the school must be going through right now. What a horrific day this turned out to be.
The closest stations are 30 miles away in Roanoke, VA Includes CBS, NBC and Fox. The ABC affiliate is in Lynchburg, another 50 miles....

FoxNews had better be carefull with the images they are showing. Showing pictures of victims before any parents are notified is horrible.
