He mentioned once how, when he first got to the US he saw a demonstration in downtown Seattle. He sat down about a half a block away, waiting for the police to show up and start "beating people". He said it was half-unbelievable when they didn't.

My feelings also. So sad and depressing. A terrorist act and little that can be done to prevent it, especially on such a big campus. It is a beautiful area - it had far tastier food than any of the some dozen other campuses we have visited.

I’m watching FOX. There was a woman, Pat Brown, introduced as a “criminal profiler,” who was yapping and yelling that everybody better sue the heck out of VTech. That’s all she said. Not one word regarding her “expertise” of profiling the shooter.

A dormitory is not the same thing as a private residence. Consider the average age...
If the picture is of the (asian) shooter being arrested, how did the shooter end up dead and barely recognizable?

I don't know if you meant that to be funny, but it cracked me up. I was thinking like a Vikings ball cap, not a viking helmet.
Any one of which could have become the scene of a mass shooting had classes been cancelled after the first incident. Which, of course, would produced large numbers of reporters asking, "why did you cancel classes, wouldn't they have been safer in the classrooms?"
This scenerio is the only one that makes sense to me. I had heard he lined the students up and shot them, I can not imagine that many being shot and someone not trying to stop it. They would have to be taken by surprise.
