The skill comment was based on the economy of shots in order to account for the size of magazine and time to reload without being jumped. Just speculation.

but that is what makes it interesting. And everyone who can type, gets a voice. no matter how senseless. and it may not be purposeful senseless, just random innocent “I wonder why...” senseless. That is how we try and makes sense of senseless actions.

There will probably be some nutjob in the future trying top what this murderer did. his life will be dissected over and over again to determine a cause. Maybe we can learn some telltale signs and head things like this off.

There is no reporting on sales of magazines, you could buy from anyone in the world ... literally. It’s a fools errant to try and trace magazines, or limit the capacity.

Reloading is not that difficult, if practiced. This person knew what they were doing, and likely practiced, simple as that. Move, shoot, reload, it’s a drill practiced if you are serious about defense. It is not that hard a drill to master or become proficient at.

Ugh. Bat Jack was just on Fox News blaming all of this on video games, again.

Well, in fairness, they wouldn’t be THAT kind of irresponsible! :D

Of course, the big problem with suggesting faculty is that they’re all liberals. They’re usually afraid of guns, nevermind wouldn’t have 1.

So, in a way, you have an awful fix!

But maybe they’d be balanced by all the other staff on campus!

what a line....”college kids are largely irresponsible selfish immature self-absorbed hedonists”...

Maybe you don’t know the kids I know and I know plenty of college kids who work hard, study hard and yes, they may party but then I know plenty of adults who do too and yet they can carry guns!

I am not crazy about my sons carrying guns at that age but your characterization is obviously uninformed. My son lives in Richmond and one night the lives of a group of college aged kids was probably saved because one of the kids had a gun that he simply showed to the “locals” who were attempting to rob the kids. The locals took off because they didn’t expect college kids to be armed yet they routinely sit in wait outside of college parties to hold up the kids and the cops DO NOTHING SO what are the kids to do???

In my experience, the colleges with whom we have been affiliated do almost nothing to maintain the safety of the kids, whether it be from emergencies, fire, crime, etc.

"I was thinking about my school. Some of these people are seriously unstable. I certainly wouldn’t want to walk into a classroom with them if they had a gun."

State (not to mention Federal) concealed carry requirements mandate enough screening procedures to keep this from happening, as my native state of Florida's own CCW laws can attest. Not everyone can just get a gun, media propaganda nonwithstanding. Concealed-carry licensees have an overall crime rate that's almost non-existant. Much lower than that of the police, incredibly enough.

They also didn’t know what was going to actually happen.

United 93 did.

all the school shootings that were stopped quickly were in areas that allowed the armed citizen to intervene.

I wonder how many former military and ROTC students at VA Tech that could have had concealed carry weapons with them, if only they were allowed to exercise their 2nd amendment on campus.

Imagine the difference had it been VMI instead of VA Tech?

Simply horrifying, especially the guy screaming at the end.

I counted 32 shots in the audio (an average of one shot every second or two, given the duration of the video), but it’s hard to hear, due to the strong wind.

Yep. Not your average college student upset with a girlfriend.

"They like the so called 'soft targets'."

Nothing truer has ever been said. As someone else noted here earlier, ALL mass-shootings occur in so-called "gun free zones".

“No, blame this on the shooter.”

-

That goes without saying!

But those liberal gun-grabbers pushed the legistlation thru and anti-gun mentality on a mindless ignorant public

Watch what happens now and do not expect the WH to now stand up for honest American citizens and their Constitutional rights to self-defense

Schumer, Feinstein, and others carry handguns

They don’t want the peons to carry
