What’s the best way to make a bank robber turn around and walk out the door empty-handed? Try a handshake and a smile.

Excessive friendliness is the key to the “Safecatch” system created by FBI Special Agent Larry Carr. The premise is that an overdose of courtesy will unnerve would-be robbers and get them to rethink the crime.

Back in my wild partying days and nights, at the bars I learned quickly how to use kindness to disarm what I determined to be possible threats. These poss. threats would start with some idiot staring at me from across the bar, usually when I was talking to a pretty woman. I would keep an eye on them and if the potential threat continued, I would wait until they turned to take another drink or order one, and walk up (on their blind side) tap them on the shoulder, say "Hey Mike"! I have not seen you since high school, stick my hand out to shake his and say I thought that was you! About 99.9% they would have a shocked look on their face and shake my hand and tell me their name was Dan, or George or something. I would apologize, and say they looked just like Mike so & so! They would be so shocked we would have a beer together (they usually bought the beer). By doing this I could go about picking up on the babes without worrying about these idiots starting something with me,or blindsiding me. The other .1% well, it did not end well for them, I was already ready for them by having my hand extended to shake his hand. Never had to go to jail like them either. I was just being nice!

It is a massive semi-automatic, gas driven, magazine fed death machine. The .50 cal bullets are large enough that they can carry payloads. The HE round usually has a small fulminate of mercury charge which is powerful enough to blow big holes in cinder blocks. My kind of weapon which leaves total devastation and scares the hell out of the bad guys. Comes in .41 and .44 cal as well.
