I agree, it is not tin foil hat stuff, it is how the Klinton Kriminal Machine works. The Machine had figured that her Heiness was going to just waltz in and take the nomination, and they are now realizing that they have a huge fight on their hands because the Rats and the DBM want someone that can Win the Presidency and they see her as too divisive, and too disliked to win. It can only go downhill from here. NBC is going to lose a lot of money, and they cannot afford to lose that revenue. Imus was a cash cow to them, and nobody will be able to duplicate it.

Dealing with radio and tv. execs is the same as dealing with terrorists. You never want to approach them from a standpoint of “let’s talk” or weakness.

While true, rodguy, Moonves agreed to talk with terrorists when he took the meeting with Sharpton. And for another twist, it was Imus who willed the power to Sharpton when he went on Al's show.

Very interesting discussion on MTP...they hit most of the angles. Russert generally defended IMUS, as he almost had to do. Gwen Ifel had a bit different take, as she almost certainly would have.

Richardson says that stuff won’t happen.

Expose the media? To who?

Both sides know the media, and either love them or hate them. What needs exposing, is DEMOCRATS. We know the media wont do that, and that is not going to change.

The media cannot cover for Democrats when they are in power, which we have learned countless times from Clinton and all the rest. Because the media is narcissistic, they hate it when the Democrats embarrass them, and it is the only time they go on the attack. So, I say, let the Dems have at it, and it wont take long for the country to remember why they don't really want them in power.

Apparently not, since he doesn’t answer the question.

If anyone is listening to Richardson, he sounds like a complete fool. Our forces have become huge targets.

Well, yes, Bill, when we go there to kill them, they shoot at us.

Next thing we are going to hear is all the generals who have endorsed Hillary’s plan for a “residual” force in Iraq.

One other delicious irony; Imus got first hand experience about how productive "talking with the enemy" can be. When he legitimized Sharpton, he gave him a 2 x 4 with which to have his 10 gallon handed to him. ...which makes your point, demonstrated flawlessly with Imus and the rest of the crooks involved in this story.

Nor did I ever take anything he said seriously. imho, the Imus schtick was to see how far celebrities would go, how many insults would they trade for the publicity they received. How much of a whore are they?
