Dealing with radio and tv. execs is the same as dealing with terrorists. You never want to approach them from a standpoint of “let’s talk” or weakness. While true, rodguy, Moonves agreed to talk with terrorists when he took the meeting with Sharpton. And for another twist, it was Imus who willed the power to Sharpton when he went on Al's show.
Very interesting discussion on MTP...they hit most of the angles. Russert generally defended IMUS, as he almost had to do. Gwen Ifel had a bit different take, as she almost certainly would have.
