Amid the Rights current romance with Senator Joe Lieberman who, admittedly, has lapses into integrity, we should remember that Lieberman is a man of highly compromised principles. Many conservative sites hail Lieberman for getting it regarding terrorism. One site highlights some of his remarks at AIPACs recent National Policy Conference:
There is something profoundly wrong when opposition to the war in Iraq seems to inspire greater passion than opposition to Islamist extremism.
There is something profoundly wrong when there is so much distrust of our intelligence community that some Americans doubt the plain and ominous facts about the threat to us posed by Iran.
And there is something profoundly wrong when, in the face of attacks by radical Islam, we think we can find safety and stability by pulling back, by talking to and accommodating our enemies, and abandoning our friends and allies."
But Lieberman didnt have a problem abandoning our allies of World Wars I and II......

You forgot the barf alert.
Lieberman is a bad guy because he thought that having a warlike totalitarian dictator in the Balkans was a bad idea.
OK.
Translation: "Lieberman is a Jew, so we know money had to be involved. I don't need to prove it or anything."
Remind me why veiled anti-Semitic shilling for a dead genocidal maniac belongs on a conservative site, please.
American Balkan Ping
Cheers!
You should mark the puker articles as such.
That's crap. Lieberman may be a Jew, but so is Gorin. There is nothing anti-Semitic about it!
No actual evidence is needed to smear someone. You just have to hate the person enough and everything you say about them magically becomes true.
Cheers!
Uh-huh. That's exactly the answer leftists like Norm Finkelstein and Noam Chomsky like to hear: it's not anti-Semitism as long as it's said by a self-hating Jew.
I honestly don’t think we should have trusted the KLA but that said, Lieberman is very capable of compromising his integrity if, say, he’s running for the veep slot with Algore.
You beat me to it.
How far are you going to reach on that one? Julia Gorin is far from a "self-hating Jew" -- and as for her conservative credentials, she was a comedian at the 2004 Republican National Convention. You are defending a Democrat who isn't even sure what he is against her. You are the one who doesn't know what they are, not me!
The fact is, the KLA was a terrorist organization who had been asked to remove their army gear and put on suites to look like champions of democracy.
BinLaden, Iran, Syria, Saudi and the others all had helped in the spread of Islam in the Balkans and Joe helped. Joe is also helping the complete destruction of the Serbian nation by ILLEGALLY supporting the separation of Kosovo and giving it to the Muslims.
That’s like giving Florida to the Cubans.
Joe forgot about the fact that Albanian heroine is 14% of the stuff on American streets.
You're right. That completely settles it.
They have murdered and ethnically cleansed all non-Albanians they could get their hands on AND have kidnapped, tortured and killed moderate Albanians - including Albanian men who were simply married to Serb women.
They funded themselves through armed robbery, drugs and human trafficking across Europe and beyond.
Even during Lieberman's campaign with Algore Freepers emphasized the LIE in his name LIEberman.
Thanks for playing.

S Molinari R-NY13 $4,000
Pete King $2,000
Ben Gilman $2,000
Eliot Engel D-N-Y17 $5,000
J. Lieberman D-CT-Sen $10,000
In other words, a $10K donation from 13 years ago is enough to buy the services of a US Senator.
All the Serbian-American Slobodan Milosevic Coatholding Fan Club needs to do is send Joe a check for $790 each year and then he'll completely flip in his loyalties, right?
Maybe the RNC should hire you as their featured comic for the 2008 convention.
