Wow, sirius radio, here he comes.
I doubt it. People listen to Stern because he is personally vile and that entertains them. People listen to Imus because he has tons of people come on and subject themselves to his schtick.
Nobody will appear with him anymore as he is blacklisted. He is radioactive to the crowd that would come on and play along. Without them he doesn't have a show.
I figure Sirius is smart enough to figure that out.

You’re scaring me with that talk. Do cuban boy castaways and alt religious covenants need to start worrying? Has anyone seen Reno lately?

I was just watching David Gregory filling in for Chris Matthews on MSNBC and he had on the Reverend (Rev. Deforest Something...) in charge of the meeting b/w the Rutgers women and Imus and he said that not since the assassination of MLK has he seen such backlash and racist commentary made by one person.
Not since the murder of MLK in 1968? This is ridiculous! This is borderline HYSTERICAL!

Good luck with your sat radio.
A free Sirius came with my new boat and it came with 6 months of free service. It didn’t have hardly any of the stations and programs it’s brochure say they have. As for talk shows, there weren’t ANY conservative programs......it was like being locked in a motel room with CNN being the only available news.
Oh well, it didn’t cost me a dime and when they called and asked me to sign up, I laughed at them and told them to forget about it.
My iPod works just fine for the music, but I do miss the news when I am on the boat.

Rush was let go from ESPN for a remark about a black quarterback but it wasn’t racist. He was opining on the fact that the media made more of a big deal about the guy because he was black. Which was true. Other sports writers had even written about it. Also his fellow hosts on the show agreed and never batted an eye about it. It was simply an effort to “Imus” Rush off of ESPN and it worked.

yes, whatever happened to ‘sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me’....
I would think the Rutgers women would be so above Imus’ comments, but Al and Jesse probably wrote their comments for them, or suggested they do it...

This thing is now officially taking on all of the trappings of a real minstrel show.

People listen to Stern because he is personally vile and that entertains them. The thing is when Stern used to have a TV interview show, and it was actually pretty good. Howard is an excellent interviewer, when he lays off the crass stuff.

So the Witch Hunt has officially begun?
Well, then...
I saw Keith Olbermann consorting and cavorting with Satan!
Oh, yeah, everyone's seen that, huh?

Reading into this some more, I sense the race pimps are trying to blow the lying ho story off the front pages. People should protest to demand Jackson and whats his face publicly apologize to the Duke players.

Tom DeLay is right. If the left can do this to Imus, why can’t the right take down Rosie O’Donnell? She’s worse.

Yeah, good riddance to the lib.
Now wait until you see what the PC lynch mob has in store for the rest of us.

There are some key differences. First, only Rush can fire Rush. And second, Rush actually makes money and has a following that sponsors can't ignore. They'll have to get through Premiere Radio (his syndicator) and Clear Channel (owns Premiere) to get to Rush.
