Simple. All internet traffic will be routed through a server at UN headquarters where they will examine what content is being view by who and how often, and they will screen what is aceptable content for each individual or group.

Such software exists now. Parents need to exercise their responsibility for the Internet the same as they would block cable shows. The govt has no business going here. By the way I am sick of "for the children". It ranks up there with "we're from the govenment and here to help".

The vast majority of porn sites are hosted in other countries, whose governments would simply laugh at such "mandates".

I remember another Freeper who said the same thing back in about 2000, and was absolutely pilloried for it here and on other forums.

Her comments were in reference to all the bogus nannystate crapola that so many have been embracing and while at the time it was primarily about smoking, she warned it would not stop there. As much as I miss her, I'm thankful she passed away before seeing just how horribly correct she was.
