OK, I have a question that no one in media has addressed: I’d really like to know how it is that Imus has all these very high powered Washington insiders on his program (from Senators and presidential candidates to major news correspondents) and, to my knowledge, none of these guests ever called Imus on the name calling and bad behaviour. For years he’s called blacks gorillas and all other sorts of invective against Jews and Hispanics. How is it that the likes of Tim Russert and Geo. Stephanopolous, Harold Ford etc were still willing to go on his program all this time? The only person I know of who has always refused to go on his show is Dianne Fienstien.

Truth be told, Peach, Imus has said far worse things such that I was surprised the uproar over the Rutgers girls. When Venus and Serena Williams had a photo-spread in Sports Illustrated, Imus commented that they should have appeard in National Geographic. That’s why I say, all the Washington elite should have been outraged long ago.
