Her name is Crystal Gail Mangum.
Let her name be the new Mudd.
Man Gum?
Now them thar are LIPS baby! I mean them thar are LIPS!!
But if you take her to the Champagne Room, she will. What a skank.
She was nothing more than a tool for the Liberal District Attny to win his election. He was the one who should have immediately dropped this case rather than try to make a name for himself and persecute these young men. He is the liar!
Pray for W and Our Troops
The NYT’s Duff Wilson should be shamed, too:

Let’s just hope the lying, criminal ho doesn’t get rich off some book deal.
When I was president of my college fraternity many years ago, I got a call from the jail. 3 members were being held without bail on a charge of rape. Seems that some high school girls had called the fraternity house one Saturday afternoon, looking for a good time. Three guys from the house picked them up, they went to an apartment, some beer was consumed, a little petting and kissing, some sort of argument, and a parting of the ways. No sex occurred and the girls had misrepresented both their ages and circumstances.
One of the girls, when confronted by her parents about what she had be up to, claimed that she had been abducted and raped by three college boys. Her parents reported this to the police, who prompted arrested and charged the three. Back then, they didn’t do rape kits, so it was going to be he said she said and the he’s were going to lose.
Fortunately, my mentor from the fraternity was in law school and he came from a very prominent family of lawyers. He knew who to call, and we got a very good criminal defense attorney on the case. The three were released on bail, and a girl from the high school was persuaded to wear a wire and discuss the incident with the accuser. She did, and our lawyer friend then played the tape in chambers to the judge and the prosecutor. Case dropped.
The accuser suffered the consequences from her parents, but was never publically held to account for her actions. For all I know, she may have done this again when it suited her fancy. If we hadn’t called the right lawyer, those three boys could still be in jail today.
My law school friend is today a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge. I’m sure that his opinion of the actions of Mike Nifong and the North Carolina Attorney General would be colored by our own experiences with injustice those many years ago.
FWIW, I added Anita Hill and Tawana Brawley to the keywords for obvious reasons.
