Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has become the only presidential hopeful from either party so far to say radio host Don Imus should be fired over racial slurs. Obama Wednesday told ABC News he thought Imus should be fired and that he would never appear on the shock jock's show again.
Imus faces a two-week suspension from his CBS Radio-MSNBC show following a firestorm over his characterization of the Rutgers University women's basketball team as "nappy-headed ho's." Imus has apologized for the insult.
Obama told ABC if anyone on his own staff made a remark like that -- "about anybody of any ethnic group" -- that person would no longer work for him.
Obama said Imus' remarks fed "some of the worst stereotypes" his own daughters face in America. Obama called the comments "degrading."
Imus has lost major sponsors including American Express, General Motors Corp. and Procter & Gamble Co.

Man, this PC nonsense has gotten way out of hand. I never realized how bad it is. Like a lot of other problems, it sneaks up on you and then it’s here to stay. Freedom of speech will keep getting curtailed - you just CANNOT say anything that certain people find offensive.

What’s crazy is that Imus had to go on a racist like Al “Jew them down” Sharpton’s program to make amends.
The man is a bigot.
It’s like meeting with Sen. Robert “There are white niggers as well as black niggers” Byrd to apologize.
There are plenty of racists in power. Al Sharpton ran for the Presidential nomination of a major party and the issue was not publicly discussed, let alone was he not questioned about it at the debate.
Obama has just demonstrated that he operates at the bidding of the race hustler puppetmasters.
