Texas Execution Ping!
I doubt this thread will get much attention. Everyone is too busy ranting and raving about Imus.
Up a week from today is Cathy Henderson for the murder of a 3 month old child.

1993. Fourteen years on the taxpayers money. The way the process goes that's actually pretty quick.

Can Texas sell carbon offsets based on the remaining thirty plus years that Clark could have expected to live? If so there may well be a very good reason to speed up the appeals process.

As opposed to the 40 years or more most Death Row inmates get? Assuming they ever get executed.

Yeah! I have to give my opinion soon about whether I want the fellow who killed my dad to go through a sentencing retrial or if I would go along with a plea bargain of natural life. Because of the way the process goes, I am almost leaning toward the plea, just so I never have to hear about him again.

We need a "Catharine's Law." If we'd had that, Catharine would still be alive.

Because of the way the process goes, I am almost leaning toward the plea, just so I never have to hear about him again. Is that life without possibility of parole? If so, just let him rot in prison. You could always have him "taken care of" at any time, if you know what I mean.
Sorry to hear about your father. That sucks.

Surely the protesters were marching with their lit candles — something they never did for the victims.
