But it reminds me of being in DC for the Promise Keepers "Stand in the Gap Rally." I was there, but listening to it on a local radio station. At one point they had everyone get face down on the ground in an attitude of prayer.

Radio announcer said "There are a million men laying prostate on the Mall."

Prayers for Mr. Thompson. Lets hope he gets better by the campagin, attacking someone for a disease is about as low as you can get.

Most of the deletions were not people sounding happy he was ill. They simply made what some people found to be inappropriate political comments about the news, or about Fred Thompson keeping it a secret.

The moderators decided the comments were inappropriate, and deleted them, but I don’t think such deletions should be seen as suggesting our fellow Freepers were happy. At least one who had posts deleted emphatically insists that was not the case, and I believe them.
