The ceremony was great. And the announcer did a terrific job. I didn’t tivo the proper time periods, so only saw part of it on tv, but I saw the whole thing on the web site. What rank was the soldier who escorted General Schoomaker as he reviewed the troops? That was a long walk, and nobody tripped in the long grass. The planes overhead...did they have anything to do with the ceremony? Were they military planes? I LOVED the revolutionary units...the drums and fifes, and the long guns, and especially the color guard.

I did get to hear most of it. The announcer was VERY good, but the ceremony was VERY long! LOL!

Yup you got to see all aspects of The Old Guard on full display yesterday.
