Guess the smell of the bird cooking for hours over whelmed her ability to resist.

She will be ok in a few days, I didn’t wait to see if things worked out on their own.

It is either I LOVE LUCY or GUNSMOKE

Gunsmoke was on for just over 20 years, I love Lucy was off and on from the 50's to the 80's...BUT

Meet the Press has been on non-stop since the 50's

Why can't that show die??? It's older than me - I'll be 50 on April 28!

Sam McCloud is a Deputy U.S. Marshal from Taos, New Mexico. He goes to New York to find an escaped criminal, and there falls for reporter Chris Coughlin, who is the cousin of the deputy police commisioner. After he tracks the criminal down, Chris convinces her cousin to request that Sam be assigned to temporary duty with the NYPD, to learn modern police methods. He is assigned to the detective bureau headed by Chief Peter B. Clifford, who is less than thrilled with having McCloud under his command and gives him nothing but menial duties, but Sam always winds up deep in homicides, drug busts and various other major crimes, often helped out by Sgt. Joe Broadhurst, and solves them using a combination of good police work and good old country know-how.

Tim Conway and Harvey Korman starred on Mama’s Family? they were occasional guests on the show... at least Harvey Korman was... i don’t remember Tim Conway on Mama’s Family when it became its own show off of the Carol Burnett Show... i say the answer is The Carol Burnette Show... btw—it turns out Tim Conway was not really a full-time cast member on the show until the last three years... this was mentioned during the reunion special... many people think he was always a member of the cast...

“Number 1 is The Carol Burnett Show, not Mama’s Family.
The last one is NOT MASH. It certainly was NOT on for 5 decades.”

So I’ve been told.

“Good evening, swmo.....how are your potatoes?”

I’m hoping they’re doing as well as my tulips! I didn’t have time today to get out back and check. I’m almost afraid to!

I’m pretty sure the hard freeze we had over the weekend took out my daylilys and ruined my cherry almond bush. But on the bright side, the peonies look just fine!

“American Graffiti? i’m not sure...”

Seems to be a toss up between the movie and Love Boat. I didn’t watch Love Boat and rarely watched The Carol Burnett Show, so Mama’s Family was the first thing that came to mind about Korman and Conway.

Well, I hope so...I graduated HS in '75!

I'll be the BIG 5-0 in two weeks!

Speaking of 5-0 - Hawaii that is - was one of my favorite shows. I also liked to watch Mannix, Barnaby Jones, Cannon, Disney, Ed Sullivan, Night Gallery, and Kolchak, (the Night Stalker).
