Okay, now let’s try round 2...

1. I’m going to agree with swmo, even though I’m not sure. The Waltons.

2. Happy days spun off Laverne and Shirley and Joanie Loves Chachi. One show made it, and the other...well...

3. Lee Majors, of Big Valley fame, starred in the wildly popular Six Million Dollar (in 1970s non-inflation-adjusted dollars) Man.

4. The slow-talking Dennis Weaver was Sheriff McCloud from Taos, New Mexico.

5. Another Dennis Weaver vehicle, this has to be none other than Gunsmoke; the series brought us Doc, Kitty, Festus, and the quintessential good guy, Marshall Matt Dillon.

I’m going to read some of the bonus answers before I provide mine...

"Happy Days" spin-off about the two titled characters (Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams) and their total comedic and romantic misadventures as Milwaukee brewery workers in the 1950s and 1960s. The series seemed to work in spite of itself due to the likable leads and their ever-lasting love interests (scene-stealers Michael McKean and David L. Lander). The characters were silly, but had a reality to them that could not be over-looked. Adequate writing and above average direction were sufficient in keeping the show a ratings winner for a good eight years from 1976 through 1983. Still a show that has a strong following as it survives the years in relatively wide-spread syndication.

This spin-off of "Happy Days"(1974) follows young Chachi Arcola as he moves out and tries to make it on his own. In between holding down a job and keeping his girlfriend, Joanie Cunningham, happy, he must also deal with the often unwanted, but sometimes needed, advice and interference from his friends, relatives and neighbors.

Again, Joanie Loves Chaci, besides being a stupid premise and title for a show, was totally unnecessary. They were pretty much all that was left on "Happy Days". They hadn't been centering the show around Fonzie all that much at the time, and they finally got around to casting Jenny Piccolo just so they could round out the cast.

When Erin Moran and Scott Baio left "Happy Days", it basically left Fonzie, Mr & Mrs C and Potsie. Okay, sounds like some fun times!!!
