Immigration activists call for May 1 boycott to demand rights

Los Angeles (AP) -- Immigration activists are calling for a repeat of last year's massive boycott and march that drew more than 1 million people to the streets in dozens of cities nationwide.

The so-called "Great American Boycott II" was being planned for May 1, organizers said Monday.

The first protest, which occurred May 1, 2006, temporarily shuttered businesses and schools across the country as people took to the streets in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and other cities.

The boycott was fueled by anger over federal legislation that would have criminalized illegal immigrants and fortified the U.S.-Mexico border. The goal was to raise awareness about immigrants' economic power.

I encourage my fellow citizens to boycott every Mexican owned business wherever you find them. For the rest of the year.

That cartoon reminds me of something...have you been listening to John & Ken? They played clips of the dude who organized this past Saturday’s march.

He (illegal activist) is MAD at GW.

Go. Figure.

"Great American Boycott II"

They still haven't learned. Wave Mexican flags and spit on America and wonder why some of us are a bit ticked at them. They want to boycott, then hit the road Jose all the way back to Mexico.

The illegal immigrant population won’t be satisfied with anything that the U.S. politicians do, and this is partly why illegals are such a danger to U.S. national security as well as trouble in a highly finite other number of ways while they remain within the U.S.!

Let’s all hold our breath in anticipation of law enforcement arresting hundreds of thousands of illegals as they march in our streets and give us the finger.

Since nothing was done last year, expect the turnout of illegals to increase.

As I have said before. Another 10-15 million illegal Mexicans and we’d better be more concerned about domestic terrorism by these illegals than Islamic terrorists.

Oh, yeah, mark my words on this. When it happens, it won’t be long before the MSM starts finding euphemisms to avoid calling them terrorists. How about “separatists” or “militants”, or maybe even “freedom fighters”. Throw in “misguided, but idealistic”.

Dude's got another march planned for August 29. He's going to have, so he says, 3,000,000 children marching.

The boycott was fueled by anger over federal legislation

Oh, humbug. It was fueled by George Soros' bought and paid for professional agitators earning their checks.

The people of Los Angeles thought the last mass work boycott was the greatest day in years. The freeways flowed smoothly, they could get attention in emergency rooms, etc. They’re praying for a repeat.

Fine, let them go ahead and do it. Short of rounding up all of these criminals in one-fell swoop, at least the freeways will be much less crowded in cities such as Los Angeles and crime will be down for one day. I remember last year’s day long boycott, and people like KABC’s Al Rantel correctly mentioned that the LA Freeways were less-crowded and that the crime rate went down.

Why would a bunch of communists use May 1? hmmmm.

By the way law day is May 1 per the ABA proclamation.

How about we go back to the old style first day of spring picnicing day?

From some lefty website I just Googled up: “Javier Rodriguez is the media and political strategist for the March 25 Coalition and a co-founder of the May 1st National Movement.”
and this little tidbit...

“National May 1st Movement for Worker & Immigrant Rights
c/o United Teachers Los Angeles
xxxx Wilshire Blvd. 10th floor
Los Angeles CA 90010”

And if you can stand it, they have a website:

http://www.maydaymovement.blogspot.com/

So, yeah, they’re commies all right...employed by the taxpayers of California.

Folks, it’s later than you think...
