Imus went on Sharpton's show and during his so called apology went on to say that he didn't want people to think he was a "Right Wing Racist Nut" ... he also went on to say white crackers and rednecks
So I'm not feeling to much sympathy for the man
Is he some local (east or west coast) DJ or what? He seems to be all the media can talk about today.
I remember John DePetro on WRKO in Boston was fired last year for calling a third party candidate a fat lesbian. He apologized etc. and was still let go. Personally, I liked DePetro a lot. I think he is on some station in Rhode Island now.

Oh yes, I agree with you completely. I see the larger picture. It’s just Imus in the hot seat “this time.”
I hope he leaves msnbc with a huge vacancy. Let them try to fill it.

Imus used to use the N-word over at WNBC quite a lot. He used it on black people, including Robin Quivers, in the hallways. Imus even confirmed this on Larry King. Sorry, but Imus does NOT have my sympathy. Anyone who calls people that (and Imus was NOT joking) is seriously messed up.
Sharpton did admit that he came to fame in a complete lie that smeared not only law enforcement officials but also prosecutors, right?
I mean since we are holding Imus to the highest possible standard....it seems fair that these two shake down artists be held to the same standard.
He had the guts to say that? If republicans had any guts they would stay OFF his show because he is talking about them. Needless to say, that won’t happen.

How many times have you told us about your daughters? They or you shouldn’t be watching Imus if your so easily offended.
What’s happening here is that Imus is being disciplined by his employer for his stupid remarks. It has nothing to do with the government. What happens between Imus and the brothers and fathers of these gals is an entirley different matter. Personally, I think every girl on that team could kick the limo liberals arse without any help.
