Newt did what he always does, which is talk way to much, always looking to be the smartest guy in the room. Clinton let Newt hang himself in arrogance, exactly the way Pelosi is doing to herself right now.
It is time to understand that the House of Representatives is not a storehouse for brilliance. This is something the Duncan Hunter throngs need to understand too.
Thank you so much for that one, save.
I would not have missed it for the world.
Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well.
We do miss you when you aren’t here.
Get some rest..drink non-alcoholic beverages...and stay warm.
Ouch! I think I broke a rib laughing.
I know where my money is, and it’s not on the spokesperson.
I am so glad Bahbah thanked you for posting this link to the Hallelujah Nuns...I forgot to watch it earlier today.
I just watched it...how divinely funny.
Thank you.
Read or re-read
“The Gemini Contenders” (?) by Robert Ludlum written in the late 70’s. I have always thought that the possibility of a 5th column in this country is very real. I realize that it’s a novel and I am not a tin foil hatter. Just one of those things that has alaways festered at the back of my thoughts.
Meanwhile.. I am solving the problem of Maria on Disney.
From what I remember, the back of the plane thing was not so much Newt whining, as the media SAYING he was whining. It is mentioned by Tom.
Well we have to stomach a lot with the rats, nothing better than practice makes perfect. LOL!
Sounds like it to me....
I mean this about as close to a non-denial denial as I have read since Bubba said he had not had sex with that woman.
I really wonder if he was counting on all of the publicity about Nancy keeping his visit secret.
I also read at some site that some other Dem Reps went to Aghganistan and Pakistan...no big names though..or I would have remembered their names.
SOOOOO..we have 3 sets of Reps...going to three different ME areas...all at the same time...at the time that all of the MSM is in a tither about Bush vowing to VETO the War Supplemental...and the Iranians holding British hostages.
All of this is just too cute by half...and I think they have gotten caught in their game of “let’s do our own foreign policy”.
And...Lantos is so dumb...he admitted it!!
I posted on one of the threads last night..that if I were Pres. Bush I would take care of one of his big problem.
I would go on TV tomorrow and say that not only do I have faith in my Attorney General...I have ordered he and the rest of the Justice Dept. to investigate the trips of the Reps that went around talking foreign policy with our enemies...and see if any qualify to be prosecuted under the Logan Act.
I’m still smiling.
Loving the little, enthusiatic one over on the right.
LOL..that one was so funny.
I was amazed at the end...I wonder how many times they had to practice...because I can guarantee that if I were one of them...I would have cracked myself up!
I confess, I could not have made it through that.
I confess...I would never have made a good nun. LOL
I am too headstrong..and a goof-up.
As the primary season heats up, that's probably going to be the "dream ticket" that's discussed. However....my feeling is she wouldn't want someone with whom she'd share the spotlight. Also, if he were to get the nomination, she wouldn't want to be subordinate to him....but that's just how I see it.
Maybe someone from the Muslim Brotherhood will come forth and say how Steny Hoyer really understands the Middle East and what a brave person he is. It would be interesting to see what Mubarak's reaction is. (He had a falling out with Clinton in the 1990's - felt Clinton stabbed him in the back, vis-a-vis Islamic Jihad - Clinton wanted to prove to the Islamists that he could be trusted - he wanted Islamic support against the Serbs in Bosnia. But that's another story.)
;-)
Both those bull dog jaws say “hit me”. ROTFLOL!
