Alternative Easter Egg Hunt Near White House to Use Fake Cluster Bombs Made By Kids
Friday , April 06, 2007
AP
WASHINGTON Anti-war and human rights activists plan an unusual take on the Easter egg hunt by holding an Easter cluster-bomb hunt on Monday.
Fake cluster bombs made by children will be scattered around Lafayette Park, north of the White House.
Hundreds of people will attend the White House Easter Egg Roll while activists hold their alternative cluster-bomb hunt on the other side of the executive mansion.
Brian Hennessey, a spokesman for the Vineeta Foundation, a group sponsor, said the event aims to be humorous and fun for kids. Organizers also want to bring attention that cluster bombs cause death and destruction, Hennessey said.

Maybe we should drop marshmellow Peeps on Al Queda instead.
Does the stupidity of these people never cease?
I feel bad for their kids being used as stupidty pawns by their moonbat parents.
These kids should be taken away immediatley and forced to work in a coal mine.

"The leftist moonbats see no problem with putting bombs on kids and sending them into crowded market places - instead, they focus their anger on anything that the civilized world does in wartime, like use clusterbombs."
World opinion was outraged when it was discovered that we taunted prisoners at Abu Ghraib and put panties on their heads; it was at the top of the news for weeks. But the almost daily suicide bombings in Iraq - targeting and killing dozens of innocent civilians - pass by without comment.

I think they should scatter real cluster bombs around just to make it interesting.
Maybe we should make Vince Foster dolls and hide them around Fort Marcey park to protest Clintons killing people!

“Liberalism’s” tenet of not discriminating, even between good and evil, invariably leads them to side with evil and against good.

In general I like sick, off-the-wall stuff, but hijacking Easter and leveraging children like this is just off the deep end. It reminds me of how bitter, feuding parents use their kids to get back at each other, reprehensible.

“said the event aims to be humorous and fun for kids”
Sounds like a BLAST.

Watch how fast the sniveling pansies scream for somebody (with bombs) to help them when radical Islamists attack America again.

Organizers also want to bring attention that cluster bombs cause death and destruction... They do? Crap, I've been handing 'em out as party favors and Halloween treats.

I wonder if they plan to line the road to Lafayette Park with fake IEDs too. On a day when the Iranians demonstrate their technology with an IED in Basara and the Sunnies show that they have finally mastered the use of chlorine bombs, you question seems particularly apt.

There’s plenty of comment by the loony lefties on the market bombings - it runs along the lines of “if we weren’t there it wouldn’t happen”.

Man that is too too funny! /sarc Wonder if they will have a easter bunny with a suicide vest on that they can talk to, or have fun shooting nerf IED’s at each other, because this brings out the true meaning of Easter to all kids.

To make things more interesting, a real cluster bomb should be planted among the fakes.
LOL - I was thinking the same thing as I read the article.
