The cat went crazy to save it’s own butt. Its owners have to open a door, otherwise dead kitty. Cats are always looking out for number one. A dog is looking out for its master. Cats have no master, only a food supplier

Cats have no master, only a food supplier. Not true with all cats.
My in-laws had a Siamese. She once woke the family up when a rug over the furnace register caught on fire. Okay, so that may have been in self interest.
But another time, my father-in-law collapsed in the bathroom with a heart attack in the middle of the night. The cat woke up my mother-in-law.

During his opening monologue the other nite, Jay Leno said (paraphrased):
The other day a golden retriever saved his master's life by doing the Heimlich Maneuver to dislodge a piece of apple choking her....now see, that's the difference between a dog and a cat.
The cat would have wait for her to die, then eat her chicken! ROFL!

I am sorry you feel that way. Have you ever read the book Puss in Boots? Cats are among the most courageous of animals, and more intelligent and sophisticated than dogs are.

Cats are always looking out for number one.I've had dogs and cats for many years. My preference is dogs, but cats are special in their own way. You just have to understand they're wired differently. Yeah, no doubt the meal ticket thing is much more apparent when it comes to a relationship with a cat ... but they can be charming and entertaining.
