O'Reilly & Geraldo Almost Come To Blows
Mediabistro.com ^ | Thursday, Apr 05 | Unknown

Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera had one of the most heated war of words I've ever seen on cable news Thursday.

An illegal immigrant was charged in the drunk driving death of two girls in Virginia Beach recently. Oliver Willis says Geraldo "called out O'Reilly's xenophobia for exactly what it was. This drove Bill O'Reilly insane. I was almost certain he was going to reach across the table and hit Geraldo."

The most vicious part is on YouTube:

A minute later, after O'Reilly abruptly changed the subject because time was running out ("what are you doing on your show this weekend?"), Geraldo said: "I think that one of the wonderful things about our network is that we are fair and balanced."

"People can decide whether you're right or I'm right. And they will decide that I'm right," O'Reilly responded

O’Reilly looked like he was about to deck Geraldo.

If I was in a bar with these two yelling at each other, I’d chug my drink and find a better bar.

Yeah, this was a horrible exchange. Even though Geraldo made his point that this was about "a drunk driver" and not about immigration, it was clear he's an oversensitive Latino.

Like most, he believes that it's ok to be illegal and even made the ridiculous argument that "America is "LURING" these illegals into sneaking across the border.

Typical Geraldo convoluted thinking!

I can’t believe Geraldo says it’s the USA’s fault that the immigrants are here and that they should be able to stay becuase of it. He said we lured them here. I didn’t. Greedy corporations did. THey need to be punished.

Whoraldo just doesn't get it!

The illegal immigrant should have never been in the country in the first place.

He thinks it's only another 'drunk driving' tragedy.

Just as rasselin’ is “Sports Entertainment”, this was “Political Entertainment”
These BOR vs GR dust-ups are looking more and more staged with each installment.

It’s like the iran / iraq war - hopefully there’s a way for them both to fight and lose.

Those two have always been edgy when they are on together. Doesn’t take much to set O’Reilley off. Obviously he feels strongly about this issue. But a lot of what he does is bluster. Geraldo is his foil sometimes.

I don't agree with BoR on much lately, but he is spot on with this one. That has to be the most heated exchange I've ever seen on FNC.

Is it safe to say that BoR represents the average American with his stance on illegals? If so, this country is about to explode.
