The Cultural Revolution was a tool Mao used to persecute his enemies within the party to retain his power. Millions suffered so an aged vain tyrant could stay on top. The Chinese Communist Party had its roots in blood and still is a bloody, corrupt organization.

Yes. They left it up to serve as wittness to the events that took place. Quite honestly, I’m surprised these videos even made their way to the internet. I suspect it won’t be long before Youtube is blocked in China.
