Thank you.

Found this, the company’s background is odd.

Incredible!

“Miller declined to identify what companies ChemNutra supplied.”

Hmmmmm.

“Devon Blaine, a California public relations spokeswoman for ChemNutra, said Tuesday evening that she did not know whether the materials the company had sent to pet food makers led to any deaths or illnesses of animals.”

A tad stupid for a person with such a high positions. What a bunch of lies.

“A call to ChemNutra’s Las Vegas office was not returned, and a recording referred reporters to the company’s Web site.”

We all know why…they, ChemNutra, has nothing to hide. Sarc intended.

“On Tuesday evening, a locked mirrored door guarded the business, in a small office park on Durango Drive, just north of Charleston Boulevard. The door bears no sign announcing the company’s name or the nature of its business, only an address.”

Oh my goodness. Move on. There is nothing to see here.

“ChemNutra has an active business license in Las Vegas, but the company has not filed as a Nevada corporation.”

?

“The agency refused to identify who had imported the ingredient, used as a protein source.”

Guilty as charged (when the time comes…If it ever does).

“Blaine said she did not know how many people the company employs in Las Vegas.”

What a liar.

“…he worked as an investment officer at Citibank…”

That figures. Citibank is and always has been a crooked corporation.

“The FDA has received more than 12,000 complaints and has confirmed about 15 pet deaths.”

Only 15 pet deaths? Another bunch of liars.

“An employee who answered the phone Thursday at ChemNutra’s Las Vegas office on South Durango Drive said there was no one available to talk to a reporter.”

Those who can afford it left town or hiding in their mansions. The rest are hiding under their desks.

“Sundlof said ChemNutra is cooperating in the FDA’s investigation. FDA spokesman Mike Herndon said the agency does not suspect ChemNutra of knowingly distributing a bad product.”

And pigs fly.

“We have several open investigations and we have not yet begun to consider whether any compliance options would be appropriate.”

Hysterical. Does anybody know what he just said?

There is an approaching thunderstorm that will hit very soon. I am turning off my computer until it flies over. Will catch up with you later.

ChemNutra imports over 4,000 tons per year, and our customers include several Fortune 500 companies.

I would like someone to tell me who is buying all the Chinese wheat gluten that an outfit in Toronto (isn't that where "Menu Foods" is HQ'd?) named "Milz International" has been going after.

That 4,000 tons a year sounds like a lot -- until you compare with the 500 metric tons a MONTH that Milz talks about.

Do some googling. Someone tell me if you can find ANYTHING on this, other than posts on a few red Chinese commerce sites and a Saudi Arabian site.

Is this "more to the story", or is it a completely different story?

Agreed! I kinda like the idea of that dirtbag digging at a dry hole!

Well, if he tries to fob off a farce on America's pet owners, there won't be a hole deep enough for him to hide in...

According to the FDA's head vet guy I saw on CNN this morning, one possibility they're looking at is that the gluten was deliberately adulterated with the melamine in order to (somehow) raise the gluten's protein content, which in turn (IIRC) would raise the price Chem Nutra could get for the gluten.

If that's what happened, I don't know how in Hades that could be accidental.

Good morning, Don Joe,

I just did some googling and found the same things you did. They seem to talk in a roundabout way. I certainly don’t understand them.

“Is this ‘more to the story’, or is it a completely different story?”

I personally don’t believe in coincidental circumstances. I believe it is all connected. There is something big going on here. Right now it appears everybody is too busy running for cover and trying to get their stories/lies on the same page.

Go back and read post #46 by Freeper mewzilla. It is an interesting post although it does not address Milz International.

I wish I could be of some help to you, but I too am at a loss. Like yourself, I am trying to connect the dots…And they are gong to be connected soon.

Interesting information. Thank you. It is interesting what the vet had to say.

About 9 months ago, the Republic of Panama purchased some poisoned cough syrup. It contained coolant. The syrup came from a pharmaceutical house in Spain, which in turn had purchased the ingredient containing the poison from China. Many folks died.

Got your FR mail. Thanks for the info. BTW, ran across this and thought you might find it interesting...

Melamine (Fire-retardant, nephrotoxic, stain erasing fertilizer)

Mentions the protein angle.
