I guess the traitors lawyers feel that the US has gone so soft on terrorists that this guy should be released. Today if he went to trial he would probably be hailed as a hero rather than a treasonous individual.

I want his sentence increased. Does that cancel out what he wants?

Lindh's lawyer and father said the lighter sentence given to Australian David Hicks should be reflected in Lindh's case. So if Hicks would have been sentenced to death, Lindh would have served out his 20 year sentence with no complaints?
