Taxpayer funding of abortion is liberal both in the cultural and fiscal sense.

This strategy worked so well for McShame. Rudi is toast in the South.

I predict YOUR predictions are wrong. And one more prediction, Rudy is NOT going to be the R nominee.

"Where have all the flowers gone?"

Where have all the flowers gone?
Damned Rinos picked them every one.

See #810

OK. You said, "Aww, I’m sowwy I hurt your poor widdle feelings!" to someone that called you out as a sophmoric moron.
Your response shows he/she was right.

Like you have any room to squeal with your ‘Dumb Hacks’ comment’.

There are plenty of dumb hacks on every message board. Sorry you feel defensive about it. Perhaps you should post positively about a candidate you support.
Who do you support?

According to the logic of the ‘vote for anyone with an (R) to keep HRC out of the WH’ cult, the voter representation here at FR is insignificant and will not make any difference in the outcome of the general election anyways, so why should y’all care in the first place? As a matter of fact, this thread was begun by the admission of RINO Rudy that some social conservatives will just not be voting for him. Fine. He’s accepted it, why won’t the rest of you? What are you so afraid of?

I never said that. I hope to vote for Gingrich to keep HRC out of the White House. I agree that the crossection of FR is not significant. I think his admission is great. Nothing wrong with having someone tell you to go *u*k yourself to your face.

I’m sorry, but the Republican party is shooting itself in the foot with this selection, and they have nobody to blame but themselves. Some of us will stick to our principles since we are being asked to cross a line and make a compromise that is just unacceptable.

That's the really sad part. You, like the majority of the anti-Rudy's on this site presume that in April, 2007, before your taxes are due, that Rudy's the nominee and woe are us, what can we do.

Give the pro-Rudy's some credit, they're proactive and upbeat, and that's a good way to win elections.

And the margin numbers are also important.

For example, there is a huge difference if the bottom column numbers are 10000, 100, 100 vs. 100, 10000, 100 vs. 100, 10000, 10000.

Statistics don’t lie, people do.

My response was not vulgar or censored so I see no issue with it other than it draws out those who possess an elitist type of personality, which worked perfectly IMO, and your hypocrisy is hysterical.

If RINO Rudy was running as a dim would you vote for him then? How about Marine Inspectors supposition, are you so desperate to put anything with an (R) in the White House would you vote for HRC if it was running as a Republican?

as the number of voters gained from the center and left will not be enough to make up for those lost on the right.

And those votes from the left and center, there's no guarantees that they'll vote for Rudy anyway. They're going to vote for the Democrat, which makes the premise that a Republican has to "appeal" to moderates absolutely ludicrous.

Sad day when Republicans look to Democrats for votes instead of conservatives.

Thank you. Good stuff.

By the way, in regards to your tagline, I'm leaning towards Fred Thompson right now. While I'm a strict fiscal AND social conservative who wants to see the most conservative candidate possible, I'm also reasonable. I recognize the need to find a compromise candidate somewhere between the 2 flaming liberal frontrunners and the hardcore conservatives at the back of the pack. That candidate needs to have good name recognition, appropriate level of real or perceived "gravitas", and have some pretty good conservative credentials. I think that Fred Thompson may be that man and I'm really hoping that he puts his name into consideration at the appropriate time.

Correct, it was sophmoric and lame. Much like your stance on a potential Republican nominee.

btw, You "forgot" to answer me..."Who do you support?"

I never said that. I hope to vote for Gingrich to keep HRC out of the White House.

I would vote for Mr. Gingrich if he was the nominee although my preference is Mr. Thompson. I don't believe he has any chance of winning the election, but since he reflects my beliefs and preferences, I would vote for him.

I agree that the crossection of FR is not significant.

Then why bother attempting to sway those of us who "don't matter", or defending those who attempt to?

I think his admission is great. Nothing wrong with having someone tell you to go *u*k yourself to your face.

I see it differently. As a politician you want to attract the most votes you can, particularly in a nationwide contest and particularly from the base of your party, and his statement seems to me to be more in the vein of "F___ Off, who needs ya anyways".

That's the really sad part. You, like the majority of the anti-Rudy's on this site presume that in April, 2007, before your taxes are due, that Rudy's the nominee and woe are us, what can we do.

You're conveniently ignoring the fact, or perhaps unaware the fact, that the majority RINO Rudy supporters on this site are adamant that he is the only one who can possibly beat HRC and we must all support him to keep out HRC. Wasting our time on other conservatives who cannot beat HRC in this nonconservative country is a waste of time. For those who actually acknowledge that him being the Republican nominee is not etched in stone at this point, their immediate 'next step' is to insist that all of us back any candidate who is nominated to the Republican ticket. While I would accept that just about any other Republican attempting to get the nomination, I and many others will stick to our principles and refuse to vote for RINO Rudy for a few different reasons, and we are belittled for sticking to our principles.

Give the pro-Rudy's some credit, they're proactive and upbeat, and that's a good way to win elections.

Not a chance. Seeing as how this is a conservative site, not Republican, I give credit to those who are upbeat and proactive over a conservative candidate attempting to get the Republican nomination, not a liberal RINO. IMO, it's a good way to tear apart the Republican party for good.
