We all know that the vast majority of Freepers are going to do the right thing because they put the country before their personal agenda.

Right - absolutely right. Nice meeting you by the way.

Actually, my friend, you stated it more succinctly than I did:

Anything else is insane.

Truer words were never posted. :-)

You are making several mistaken assumptions. The first is that Rudy Giuliani will win the nomination. That is what the primary season is all about. There are several candidates with much more conservative backing that have a very good chance at winning this. Fred Thompson is a good example.

Secondly, you are assuming that Rudy Giuliani is the ONLY candidate who can win as a Republican. Fred Thompson polls quite well against Hillary, and Rudy Giuliani is dropping now, and losing to Hillary at this point in time.

And thirdly, you are assuming that Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee. This is far from being decided at this early point.

The notion that anyone not supporting Giuliani is “a vote for Hillary” is total nonsense, and there is no proof that is the case. It is a lame attempt at scaring people into supporting Giuliani, nothing more.

Then what's all the uproar about for all these weeks? 10 percent doesn't win jack; just ask Alan Keyes.

He's more popular amongst the general population than with freepers. You must admit, though, that the non-freeper polls which have Thompson yanking support from Rudy are VERY encouraging!

""I tell people what I think. I tell them (to) evaluate me... I don't agree with me on everything," Giuliani said."

Now I have an idea what the evaluation is about.

We all know that the vast majority of Freepers are going to do the right thing because they put the country before their personal agenda.

That's precisely why many conservatives will not vote for Rudy.

Kindly point out where I said Rudy would win the nomination?

I just stated that, unlike you, I’m not willing to throw this country to the liberals because I don’t get my way; I’ll be voting for THE Republican nominee, regardless of who it is.

And of course if you don’t vote GOP, you ARE supporting the DNC, no matter how many times you post that you’re not.

Thank you! The Rudybots have panicked and are now grasping at straws. He has imploded and they cannot deal with it.

And what you said is the truth. There are more than one issue to not want Rudi as POS. If the republicans go with him then so be it. I would like to know who is behind Obama? I mean 1 million behind Hitllery and he came from nowhere!

What do you expect from the Rudyites? "He's the only one who can win" is ALL THEY'VE GOT!

With this latest proclamation, Rudy has definitively lost the Republican nomination.

BUH-BYE, Rudy.

A simple “I won’t be supporting Rudy” statement would have been sufficient Liz.

Do you believe abortion is ‘one’ issue independent of others?

If you can step away from the emotion of this issue, yes, it is one issue. Is it independent of others? No, there are other issues that tie into it closely. Is this (and it's related issues) the only yardstick by which I decide who might best lead this country? No.

There have been, for example, pregnant women in Iraq who have been murdered by Muslim terrorists. Therefore, should I select a right-to-life candidate who's weak on terrorism, or a candidate who's strong on terrorism but has a weaker stance on right-to-life. I just don't see things as cut-and-dried as some people do and it makes decision-making harder for me. If only one issue is of concern to a person, it would seem to me that their life is much easier than mine.

I'm not trying to say the right-to-life position is right or wrong and, clearly, I could never change either side's mind on the issue. My only point is that the job of President must touch more than just one issue and, as such, I need to know more about the candidate than their stance on just that one issue.

He's more popular amongst the general population than with freepers.

Oh, I see; you're scared the country will actually vote for him if he gets the nomination and you're trying to destroy him now.

I got it.

The DNC thanks you for your work on their behalf.
