Looks like McCain will get the NRA vote from what I've seen.

It would go to Fred if he enters the race, or probably Hunter if Fred does not.

But I'm really talking general election here. Rudy just basically dropped his pretense of moving rightwards to accomodate the pro-life vote. His gun-control record is atrocious. Where is he going to get the votes to make up for losses on the right at the rate he is going if he wins the nomination?

He's not. If he's the guy, there will be a 3rd party candidate who will soak up all those votes (probably about 15%) and Rudy will lose to her Heinous 47% - 38%.

And the GOP will lose the House and Senate for a generation.
