Thought Experiment: What would it take to make the free world rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism?
Apparently kidnapping and taking hostage British soldiers isn't going to motivate the free world to rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism.
Iranian terrorists crossing into Iraq and blowing up innocents isn't going to motivate the free world to rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism.
Lebanese terror groups hurling rockets into Israel isn't going to motivate the free world to rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism.
And lets face it, if Gore, or Kerry after him, had won the presidential election (both close elections), even now the US would not be confronting islamo-fascist terrorism in the Middle East.
Is there anything that may motivate the free world to rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism?
Volunteer.
O just don’t know. I am not even sure that America is worth defending anymore.

I feel as strongly today about 9/11 as I did that morning.
This is not a border skirmish where both sides engage in a few forays and saber rattling then settle down to domestic tranquility.
One side or the other must win.

As long as Islamo-Fascism can't be separated with surgical precision from Islam, it will never happen.
Islam breeds Islamo-Fascism yet no one dares attack "one of the worlds greatest religions". Until that mindset changes, Islamo-Fascist terror will prevail.
However, if the free world decides to declare war on the cause (Islam) instead of the symptom (terrorism), there is a chance for survival.
Not too far for the mushroom cloud to travel to engulf Fresno.
I wouldn't go so far as to say all of America, but I wouldn't go out of my way to defend San Francisco or Chappaqua ;-)

Also, I have a feeling that many in the UK are probably disgusted with themselves. There may be mass deportations from europe before long.... at least the illegal aliens.

Now we are getting somewhere. But no matter how much money we spend, if we keep fearing what the world court of public opinion thinks - because most of the rest of the free world appears to want to keep this war at arms length - and our law makers keep worrying about getting voted out of office over this war - because so many in this country want to abandon the fight against islamo-fascist terrorism in Iraq - and our soldiers aren’t allowed to proceed with overwhelming force - because it looks bad on the six o’clock news - then no matter how much money we spend, we will not win this thing - not without the resolve to do what it takes - like invade Iran, Syria, etc.
