He said: "The general picture, as I have said before, is that there are elements of the Iranian regime that are backing, financing, arming and supporting terrorism in Iraq." British and US officials believe that the Quds brigade, part of the Iranian revolutionary guard, is helping to provide insurgents in Iraq with the training and finance to create roadside bombs...

I wonder if this tough talk now is doing anything to remove the taste of Ahmadinejehad's butt from Tony's lips? It's was awful to witness the once mighty Great Britain grovel at a tinpot dictator's feet for the release of hostages who the Iranians should never have been able to sieze in the first place. I wonder if there's any hope for Western Europe...and us, for that matter.
