A recent news report on Radio Netherlands, to commemorate the fifth anniversary of formal legalization, gives a good example. It contained no discussion of the approximately 1,000 patients who, without requesting euthanasia, are nonetheless killed by Dutch doctors. And we are told that Terri Schiavo was a "one time" incident.

This is the way that socialized medical care systems will balance the books in the near future. Elderly patients won’t be a burden, if they’ve all been euthanized.

The Nazis were not reporting the killing of the infirm, retarded, Gypsies, Homosexuals, Christians and Jews either.

“But before Keizer can kill him, Van de Berg receives a letter from his religious brother telling him that it would be a sin to commit suicide and would violate the way they were raised as children by their parents.”
I expect that Mr Keizer will find out if there is a hell after he dies.

And now this letter, which to my surprise, he takes seriously. I dont know what to do with such a wavering death wish. Its getting on my nerves...Poor simple murderous bastard. Someone should put DR Bert Keizer out of his misery. It's the right thing to do, apparently.

The "right to die" quickly turns into the "duty to die".That's correct. When the orthodox is made optional, the unorthodox soon becomes mandatory.

BTTT.
Doctor assisted suicde...doublespeak of the worst sort. Like calling killing unborn babies “womens’ choice”. They’re both Evil with a capital E.

Yep. What ever happened to the Hippocratic Oath? The goal of doctors and humans should be to try to save others or keep them comfortable until death, not kill them. The slippery slope of the Culture of Death continues.

Thank you both for the pings to this very important piece of writing. The "Dutch carpet" is getting very lumpy, from all the dirt that is being swept under it.
I think that many a sociopath is having a good time, killing people in the Netherlands. Makes me wonder what kind of people will be attracted to practicing medicine.
