I'm kind of scratching my head on this one, I don't get it but I guess why not You mean the reason for the ping? They are both Gen-Xers who were on Gen-X kids shows: Fergie '75, Alanis '74.

1. Who the hell is Fergie? Didn't he used to pitch for the Chicago Cubs?
2. I liked Borat better when he was the lead singer for Queen.

Worst movie. Ever. Not even Alan Rickman could save it.

Good concept, but ‘dog’ it ain’t got no groove.
Maybe a Lou Rawls version ... “Lady Lumps”

Who the hell is Fergie?Shh! She's a tranny but no one knows yet.

All you need to know about Morrisette is that she sucks. In every way.
All you need to know about Fergie is she must think she can't sing either, because her whole career is based on showing off her ass.
See, you didn't miss anything!

I refuse to listen. O Holy Night is the most beuatiful song ever. Can’t listen to it getting butchered, it would be like watching someone dismember my cat.

I respect your opinion and your right to present it.
However Dogma was an incredible film that was appealing on several levels.
A couple of hot babes, matt & Ben, Jay and silent Bob.....
Kevin is a genius.
Alanis was adorable as God, which was the whole point.
One of my all time favorites

Alanis Morrisette = western civilizations psycho bitter ex-girlfriend.Quite the accurate discription there...but Ms. Morrisette is taking it all the way to the bank. Her 'Isn't it Ironic' is a literary wonder compared to the crappola Spears, Gwen Stefani, or the Fergalious One put out. FWIW, I like Alanis' cover of 'My Humps.' Her vocalization/phrasing brilliant...I don't see this as parody...but commentary on young woman in the 'biz.'

I am a big fan of true country music. Ray Price, Johnny Bush, ET, Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, Louvin Bros., Buck Owens, Willie Nelson when he had short hair, Merle Haggard. . . My original post was meant to reflect on the sorry state of “country” music today.

I actually love the Black-Eyed Peas, and My Humps is one of my favorites. There’s no better music for working out on my elliptical. I like Fergie better when she’s with the Peas, though. I didn’t care too much for Alanis’s parody, but Jagged Little Pill was a good (albeit weird) album. Flame away ...
