I heard one of the protestors on the radio this morning whining that her right to protest had been violated by the police. Translation: They weren’t supposed to stop us!

Throwing objects at people and their vehicle is not “protest”. It is assault. The DC police missed an opportunity to upgrade the constitutional IQ of some college students.

The irony here...if they protested like that in say, Baghdad back in 2002, they'd be fed into a shredder.
Or another example might be Tiananmen Square?

Police said they have dealt with a lot of protests on campus and this one was handled peacefully.Could someone please explain what it means to throw things at somebody peacefully?
