WASHINGTON -- White House Advisor Karl Rove was the target of a protest on the American University campus Tuesday night, NBC 4 reported.
Rove was on the campus to talk to the College Republicans, but when he got outside more than a dozen students began throwing things at him and at his car, an American University spokesperson said.
The students then got on the ground and laid down in front of his car as a protest.
The students said security officials picked them up and carried them away so Rove could leave.
Police said they have dealt with a lot of protests on campus and this one was handled peacefully.
No one was arrested.

What!!! They were throwing things at his car! Why no arrests?
Simply put, liberals are weak people.

There is some freeper who has as his tagline, “Liberalism is a mental disorder”.
I realize you enjoy joking around on this topic, and rightfully so, but you do realize that Pastor and others at AU actually advocate that crap, right?
Throwing objects at people and their vehicle is not “protest”. It is assault. The DC police missed an opportunity to upgrade the constitutional IQ of some college students.
Don’t know if y’all had seen this already. It’s long, but worth it !

“Most of these leftist couldnt do 10 push-ups, compete in any sport or socialize with normal heterosexual women.”
Yeah, what you said. Have you noticed that most leftists are the most pathetically out of shape people? I think their physical wussiness mirrors their mental wussiness. In college the leftist students were terrified of any student who could do 10 push-ups or make a smart argument.
For one thing, leftist professors advocate lots of things.
For another, Pastor himself specifically denied advocating anything like an NAU.
I’m sure you want me to quote chapter and verse, even though you ought to know about it already, being an expert.
The problem is, this particular dork seems to have the ear of people who actually think this might be a good idea.
For another, Pastor himself specifically denied advocating anything like an NAU.
The guy wrote a book called "Toward a North American Community". Read some of his columns. They'll give you the douche chills.
Im sure you want me to quote chapter and verse, even though you ought to know about it already, being an expert.
I'm not an expert on this at all. I'd just rather err on the side of being vigilant when some people start taking traitors like Pastor seriously.
Nothing but hypocrites.
Yes, God forbid we have a North American Community. What we should do is landmine both borders and occasionally lob missles at their capital cities.
But that’s all you need to hear: buzzwords. It’s like the idiots spouting New World Order. That’s all they had to hear. It didn’t matter that Bush 41 used it to refer to the change in the world after the USSR fall. It was all a grand conspiracy.
Well, I say great. If it’s a conspiracy, I’m getting in on the ground floor.
I don't know about you, but I've taken an oath to defend the American Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic.
I take it from your above comment that you agree with the afore-mentioned "leftist professor" on this "North American Community"?
Enemies? Quebeckers who want to take our Florida sunshine by vacationing in the winter?
Or are we talking precious bodily fluids here?
Daddy’s not following.
Or another example might be Tiananmen Square?
Could someone please explain what it means to throw things at somebody peacefully?
(looking at the pic)
Why are the leftist women always the most shrill/radical/insane? Whenever I see them protesting I always wonder why their heads haven’t exploded yet. You’d have to shove an entire warehouse of Valium down their throats to get them to scream below 100db.
