Students Pelt Karl Rove In Protest

WASHINGTON -- White House Advisor Karl Rove was the target of a protest on the American University campus Tuesday night, NBC 4 reported.

Rove was on the campus to talk to the College Republicans, but when he got outside more than a dozen students began throwing things at him and at his car, an American University spokesperson said.

The students then got on the ground and laid down in front of his car as a protest.

The students said security officials picked them up and carried them away so Rove could leave.

Police said they have dealt with a lot of protests on campus and this one was handled peacefully.

No one was arrested.

Typical protesters have no idea what actually went on to afford them the luxury of protesting in the first place.

What a difference. Our side would never consider doing this to a speaker with whom we disagree. The left really does think differently. They are scum.

And if we did, can you just imagine the outrage they would display? There would be a media feeding-frenzy for weeks.

According to CNN’s Michael Ware the Republican students were taking the Democrat students and throwing them under the car for Rove to drive over. Rove drove over a few then backed up and did it again. Ware said, "This is the honest truth... Rove was more evil than Zarqawi... and I wasn't drinking at the time either..."

IMO Rove could handle that. Just glad they did not have any toxins-poisons-bio or such in what they were throwing at him/eventually us)

Considering there were no arrests for assault, laying in wait, hate crime, etc., the students will be encouraged to repeat their crimes with escalating violence.

I can't help but wonder what the outcome would have been had this mob violence been applied to Hildog08 by the college republicans.

The left really does think differently.

Yes, they do, but it is more than just "different" - - it is irrational, and the irrationality is born of weak personal power.

Simply put, liberals are weak people.

They were upset because they saw that Karl Rove could dance and they can’t.

Remember, the left does this then blames the right for making them do things like this because we are so mean.
Goebels would be proud of them!

Most of these leftist could’nt do 10 push-ups, compete in any sport or socialize with “normal” heterosexual women.

These are not courageous people. Instead of being skirt chasers they’d rather wear them.

They seek the only enclave which validates their anti-social out of step
behavior that being the American University.

Don’t you just LOVE the free and open exchange of ideas on U.S. campuses these days?

“Police said they have dealt with a lot of protests on campus and this one was handled peacefully. No one was arrested.”

Translation: Although the protestors were not peaceful, we stood idly by until we had to step in and make it seem that we were doing something about it, treat them with kid gloves, then give them a pass.

From American University’s website:

“AU actively promotes international understanding..”

AU has a public relations problem.

Perhaps AU should teach their students that pelting people with objects is not a solution to a problem.

“No one was arrested.”

Assault and vandalism are legal for snot-nose quislings? What happened to the 14th Amendment?
If loyalist students had done this to a visiting terrorist like Ahmedinejad or Rosie O’Donnell, the whole weight of the fifth column media would be on it for days.

Shouldn’t it be called Anti-American University? It is now, in my book.

I’d really like to just start calling these buffoons what they are: trailer trash.

And you know that calling them that would annoy them to no end. ;) They’ve got that name roped off for everywhere that they see as being beneath them. Throw it back in their face, says I.
