Speaking in 2004 to a crowd of wealthy democratic supporters during a fund raising event in San Francisco, Hillary Clinton spoke the very words that illustrate the intentions of the government so very well. "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
While those words were spoken three years ago, they are just as important today. They represent not just the Democrat party's strong commitment to the redistribution of wealth rightfully earned by the American people, it provides insight into the focus that our politicians have in running our nation. It highlights the precise arrogance that Hillary, and many other politicians, have. Our property is not the federal government's to take. The people are not here for the federal government to milk.
Governments are meant to provide protection for their people. Whether that means standing guard at the border, interpreting intelligence data from around the world, monitoring the actions of hostile nations or providing domestic police forces to ensure obedience from the people, governments provide the necessary protection that most Americans simply cannot provide for themselves.

It's the same communitarian crap we've been living with since the New Deal.
There was a time I would have believed that...not anymore...People just seem to roll over and play dead.
Man, once surrendering his reason, has no remaining guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without rudder, is the sport of every wind. With such persons, gullibility, which they call faith, takes the helm from the hand of reason and the mind becomes a wreck. Thomas Jefferson
It has been said that a child who is made to earn a toy most often takes better care of it than a child who was simply given the toy. Well, our nation has become a nation of children who have been given, not a toy, but the gifts of freedom and a Constitutional Republic with which to safeguard that freedom and we are abusing these gifts with our relentless apathy and ignorance. Because it is impossible to understand the value of something without knowing its worth, our society has become estranged from the value of freedom. We toss around the saying freedom isnt free but we hardly understand the price of attaining and maintaining that freedom. The majority of us have never actually fought for our liberties and we most assuredly have never lived under the tyranny of oppression, although the delusional Progressive-Left would argue otherwise. We have become soft, self-centered and egotistical and our country is a worse place for it. Frank Salvato

A number of years ago a President of this country declared that we have a rendezvous with destiny. In a world where terrorism spreads and the innocent die we must fulfill our destiny. If not us, who? If not now, when? Ronald Reagan
Shrillary was just repeating what most libs believe: you don’t own your wealth, you merely have temporary control of it until the gov figures out a way to take it from you. That is why lib economic analists refer to income “distribution” rather than individual earnings. As if some wealth accumulator randomly distributes money to people. In their minds wealth just is, and it’s distributed to various groups... usually unfairly in their minds.
I saw that video too and could hardly believe my eyes and ears. You'd think people would understand what libs are up to, but I'm afraid too many Americans most likely would agree with the Slick One. "Oh gee Mister Clinton, here have some more of my money to waste on your stupid social programs."
