((( MITT ROMNEY PING )))
This editorial written by Mitt Romney's eldest son, Tagg, includes a human interest story I had not heard before. You may find it interesting too.

"Why I think..." - well, keep thinking. I, for one, prefer to think for myself.

He's frugal, but there are 4 ways to spend money.
The 1st way, is spending your money on yourself.
The 4th way, the way of politicians, is to spend someone else's money on other people.
The two may not have any correlation. I'm sure Nancy Pelosi is a lot more frugal with her money than yours.
I'd also like to hear Taggart talk about his Dad's multiple life changing experiences on abortion and how it's gone from a bad thing to a cherised value, back to being a bad thing.

I'll never forget one weekday sometime during July 1986 (burned in my memory as a magic year for a crazy Boston sports fan, with the Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox all making it to the championship games). Hey...it was a great year for us METS fans as well. Thanks for helping bring back those memories, Tagg!

This is a nice article, and it is clear that Mitt Romney has provided a good upstanding example to his son, and while I support Duncan Hunter, I can think of far worse things than a President Romney.
For example, President Guiliani.

The issues in which Mitt Romney flip-flopped are disturbing.

Tagg, tell your dad that he has spent too much time and energy on the ‘Liberal’ side of things. Thus he has only a snowball chance in hell of becoming President.

Politics aside..... Great story!

This commentary is very well written and will be very effective with those voters paying enough attention to read it. Those of us who are sticklers for various issues will want to get into the details of those issues, but the average person just reading to get an impression of different candidates will be impressed. You're making today a good day for your man. I hope my candidate will have some good days as well.

I learned three lessons that day. The first is that my Dad really is pretty frugal. There isn't much that bothers him more than wasting money. The second is that my Dad honestly believes he can overcome any challenge with enough hard work and ingenuity. And third, I learned that my Dad cares for me enough to spend his day looking for an anchor in the Atlantic Ocean. He didn't care so much about finding the anchor as he did about teaching me the first two lessons being wise with money and not letting anything stand in my way.
You know, that's really a great story about Mitt. It rings true as to his character and general outlook, very consistent with everything else the public knows about him.

Great post!
I’m always amazed at the ignorant dim witted responses by freepers on these threads.

BUMP!
It is hard not to like Mitt. Personally, I have to overcome my repulsion of voting for somebody who was elected by Massachusetts before I can vote for him.

It’s Mitt for me if Fred Thompson’s not on the CA primary ballot.
