I'm interested in knowing of those civilian deaths, how many are combatants--meaning insurgents, militia, Al Qaeda, foreign terrorists from other Islamic countries, etc? Nowhere are these deaths tracked. Of course, our military is trying to avoid the body count statistic from the Vietnam war, but I'd wager that a big percentage of the civilian deaths are bad guys.

Kind of like the gun control groups counting gang murders as "gun death of children".

Watching this special about Sandy Berger again, it reminds me of the fact that Lee Hamilton was on the 9/11 Commission and ALSO part of the Iraq Study Group...

Imagine: The Chicago Tribune, LA Times, Sun Sentinel, etc. etc. etc. .. PLUS all their TV stations and websites blasting DNC planted "news" .. something helpful to them. Their columnists on talkshows, headlines in the papers, blogs spewing junk .. 24/7.

Or let's say they find a rumor started about a Pubbie (or create one) and they ALL jump on the bandwagon ... days, weeks of coverage EVERYWHERE about some trumped up or even real scandal or inconsistency.

Or .. the opposite side: positive stuff about Rats and SHE .. constantly bombarding our senses, non-stop: these major newspapers, TV stations, websites shoving fake junk in people's faces .. gullible people.

I just called Sam Zell's office and left him a message urging him to FIGHT for this magnificent empire, and that if Burkle's group got it, it would be so dangerous for our country regarding the 08 elections.

Today was the deadline for the decision by the Tribune's board ... no decision yet, but apparently sentiment is weighted in local guy Zell's favor .. I PRAY it is so, even though he has contributed to the Dims. He's given much more to Pubbies, and he's a solid, ethical businessman and citizen.

The Baltimore Sun is a Tribune paper that is a total partner with the Maryland Dem party. For 4 years they blasted Republican governor Ehrlich and covered up for a totally incompetent mayor of Baltimore who was 'due' to become the next dem governor of Maryland.

Now we have the totally incompetent mayor as governor. Oh joy!!

I took that as Biden trying to imply they had the President backed into a corner, leaving him little choice. If I recall, Wallace then points out that he says he will and Biden says that he has said that before, implying that he has backed down before, but I don't recall that he ever has.

What is making me so mad about this program...is just like EVERY time...when Biden is asked a specific question about why the DEMS get away with something that they won't let Bush do...Biden ignores the question..and goes on to just accuse Bush of MORE dirty deeds..

Thanks, I am a hit and run poster today, too much Pubbie Women's Club fund raising duty yesterday and I am wiped out today. We are going to have to start pounding these issues and speed dial congress and let them know that none of this crap is in their job description and they should pay their own way totally, and deal with the consequences of their actions. Pelosi has no idea what she is doing, that botox has gone deep into her former brain cells. She might as well be a Dumb blond, that is what she acts and sounds like, actually a dumb blond who is in Menopause, and has a memory like a sieve. I watched a Discovery or TLC show the other day that was a Mystery Illness show, and they had a man that had that Berger problem, and the tumor got so big before it was discovered that it pushed into the brain and basically made a hole into the brain which any infection could have given him meningitis, or a life threatening brain infection. He lost hearing but is ok, and they can come back again. The affliction does not make you steal and stuff like Berger did.
