What the War Supporters Threw Saturday, March 31, 2007

In his March 27 letter, Kristinn Taylor, spokesman for the Gathering of Eagles, asserted that there is no evidence that a counter-protester threw manure at antiwar protesters during the March 17 march on the Pentagon.

I step forward to assure Mr. Taylor that it is true: I was hit by the pro-war manure. Thankfully, because of its high fiber content, it fell off and left no residue.

I'm happy to see that the GOE only threw "high fiber" manure at these idiots.--LOL!

I would be willing to bet that if this actually happened, some of the unwashed would make sure to document it with cameras and yelling for the police, and the media, etc etc.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............

Next time I recommend using a 3" PVC potato gun, charged with propane. You can pre-form your manure of choice in styrofoam cups that are properly sized for the bore, and be sure to stand clear of the muzzle, because the residual methane will ignite as it exits the barrel...

For Easter, large peeps work well too, except that the propane ensures that the sugar ignites like napalm, and the peeps transform into flaming meteors that are particularly impressive at night...

Hard boiled eggs, shelled and unshelled, are also particularly good ammo of choice. If you store said ammo in the roof of your garage for 2 weeks or so before use (in the shells) they make excellent crowd-clearers when they splat on concrete...

I hope this will help all of you old white folks, and maybe prevent some severe elbow bursitis from all of that hand-throwing...

I thought that after you eat it, you're supposed to die. Maybe just a little taste makes you a liberal.

Any way you could launch rotten tomatoes? It would give a paint ball effect without the sting.

......... or has a background in animal husbandry or horticulture.

Doesn't this imply a history of actual hands on work? Something that that crowed is totally afraid of. After all most of them couldn't even finish their stroll to the Pentagon as it was just to 'hard' and 'up hill both ways'.

It sounds as though she doesn't mind wallowing and wading in anti-war manure. She does it all the time. It's that pro-war manure that she doesn't like.

I wasn't there, I don't know. I hope it wasn't us, and that they are enhancing the perils of being anti-war protesters. If we are going to have any traction, we've got to be the "good guys". If we fail to maintain our standards, then we have lost already.

I lived through the last go-round of war protests in the 1960s. I know what makes the news isn't rational, thoughtful Americans. It just doesn't sell papers or ad spots.
