Democrats think being a Republican is a violation of the Constitution. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Does that mean Obama would repeal all gun control laws, eliminate the IRS, do away with the NEA, Medicare, and all the pork giveaways?

"I was a constitutional law professor, which means ... I believe in an attorney general who is actually the people's lawyer, not the president's lawyer."

Oh really? Guess you skipped skool when they got the part about JFK and his brother RFK. And were you high on crack for eight years when Willard's wife had her lesbo 'b*tch' Janet Rino as AG, huh 'Barry'?

An aside Dumbo, if the AG is the 'people's lawyer', why don't we elect him? Yes 'professor', I'm waiting...

"I was a constitutional law professor, which means unlike the current president I actually respect the Constitution,"

One thing has nothing to do with the other.

In fact, today's professors tend to insult the Constitution, not respect it!

Bush will be put on trial; I've said it since November.

The rats want to get the stink of Clinton off of them by dirtying up a republican.

It's going to be disgusting to see.

He failed the bar exam, but is a constitutional expert.

To play devil's advocate, the Bar Exam is little more than an exercise in rote memorization that bears little relation to the actual practice of law. It serves only to weed out those people who can't afford a BarBri review course.

Or so I've been told by lawyers. Ask me in November.

Yeah and Clintoon taught Constitutional Law and ironically one of his students, a judge, would judge him inadequate for having "lied to the court". clinton is a master of "covering his tracks" but the evidence will undo him.

It is already disgusting...and they haven't gotten to the impeachment part yet.

All I am hoping for at this point...is that it will take so much of this crapola like the US Attorney hearings and such..that Americans will be SICK of them bitching.

""I was a constitutional law professor, which means unlike the current president I actually respect the Constitution," Obama told an audience at a campaign fundraiser.

Action speak louder than words... so prove it, because up to this point your actions only show that you abhor it.

He failed the bar exam, but is a constitutional expert. At what law school did he teach?

He didn't fail the bar exam. He taught at the University of Chicago Law School. Since he was in the top of his class at Harvard Law School, he's probably not a legal idiot.

And an appointed official is supposed to follow the policies laid down by the person who appointed him. In this case. the senior officlals at Justice completely failed to make this clear to certain USAttorneys, who seemed to think that they were independent operators subject only to the canons of the legal profession. Wrong. They are subject to lawful authority. So unless their superiors give them an unlawful order, they are bound to obey, even if they disagree with it.

Nevertheless, even the greatest constitutional law expert probably should not brag that they are one.
