Be sure to have your kids checked for TB once a year, too. In that kind of environment, it would be surprising if they WEREN'T exposed to TB and a number of other Third World ailments. We are importing poverty, and povery is bringing with it problems that are spreading to the population at large.
Don't forget about Hepatitis, thats a biggie especially from Mexico and Central America.
